Ribera del Duero has become arguably the most successful wine region of Spain. Although the wines of this region can be heavy handed and a bit brooding, this project is an “antidote” to this bigger style. With more finesse, this wine is both deep and bright, powerful and gentle. Crushed blackberries and smashed plum, drizzled with a delicate vanilla cream.

Delicious With

Great match to a cheese board – especially sheep’s milk, delicious with red meat – grilled or roast lamb, beef, especially steak, and venison with a rich red wine sauce. Pairs well with spice from chorizo, grilled eggplant, mushrooms and squash (charred - that’s the key).
