Agnes and Philippe Badea, a husband-and-wife winemaking team, make this deliciously cozy and scrumptiously rich wine mostly from 80-year-old Grenache vines.  From the heart of the Côtes du Rhône region, this is one of those wines that stops you with its intensity. Dark and brooding with plum and cinnamon, this is both big-bodied and surprisingly easy to drink.

Delicious With

Really delicious with a variety of meats and meaty dishes like grilled sausages, lamb chops, wild boar stew, Wagyu burgers, and Shepherd’s Pie. For a slightly lighter pairing, try with roasted mushrooms or a rich Ratatouille.
