Dry, yet creamy with a firm citrus, stone fruit, and leaven bread depth. A supremely delicious example of Sonoma Chardonnay – classic in every way, drinking excellently now, but would also fatten up with some age. Half of the fruit was foot tread, and pressed the following day. The other half was direct pressed. Hence the name 'Peg Leg,' one foot in one foot out (also David, the grower, is half pirate, says James, the winemaker). No sulfur was added and this beauty is pure heaven.
