Good French wines have “finesse et puissance” (finesse and power), and that’s just about the Frenchiest thing someone could say about their wine. Fifth generation winemaker, Sebastien Latour, has made exactly that! A mix of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault, the is spicy-fruited glory, with notes of cassis, black pepper, and toasted herbs; it's like finding a Chateauneuf at half the price!

Delicious with savory pies like chicken pot pie, shepherds pie, and steak and kidney pie; braises and stews; reduction sauces of currant, cherries, and other red-to-black berries. Great with grilled meats like baby-back ribs, entrecôte, or roast rack of pork. Or hearty vegetarian dishes like moussaka or chili sin carne.

Domaine de la Damase is located in the village of Violès, at the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail and in the heart of Provence. Sebastian is the family's 5th generation winemaker. The vineyards are organically farmed and all the wine are bio certified.

The Plan de Dieu comes from the the first vineyard bought by Serge and Bernadette, Sebastien’s parents. Sebastien remembers hunting truffles when he was young with Serge in this vineyard.  He takes special care in making this wine; a combination of great terroir, grape varieties and family stories.
