Citrusy, melony, a tad peppery, with a nice mineral touch. This Arneis is the only white wine produced by Brovia, a well-respected Barolo producer, and it's quite snazzy! Hand-harvested from a tiny plot of 40+ year old vines, it’s fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. It's a wine with lovely freshness, but with some body as well. Excellent winemaking, and a gorgeous wine!

Delicious With

Raw seafood, grilled octopus, white fish baked en papillote, and shellfish. Vegetable-based pastas, and seafood pasta, White meats like chicken and turkey, and cold ham and salami, and fresh milky cheeses like Burrata.

Their Cred

In 1863 Giacinto Brovia founded the Brovia estate in the village of Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo district. The family has been continually engaged in the growing of grapes and the production of wine since then. Production was interrupted for almost 30 years (during the phylloxera plague, economic upheaval and two wars) but, in 1953, Giacinto’s grandchildren (Raffaele and Giacinto) resumed full-scale wine production. Giacinto, a trained enologist, managed all wine production while Raffaele, a trained agronomist, supervised the vineyard work. In 2011, Giacinto’s daughter Elena and her husband Alex Sanchez took over the now fourth-generation family-run estate.
