He’s made it his mission to champion old-vine País and other native varieties, working with small farmers who still tend their vines by hand and plow with horses. At his core, Luyt is all about minimal intervention: native yeast fermentations, no additives, and a deep respect for tradition. His Pipeno wines, like the Blanco ‘Carrizal’ 2024, are a tribute to Chile’s rustic, communal wine heritage-unfiltered, vibrant, and brimming with personality.
