This wine is romantic, a bit frivolous, meant for patio dining and sipping, and most notably, for people-watching. Frascati wines come from the region where Rome is located in central Italy. Made with Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes, this is an easy, breezy white, with a nice body – so it’s fuller than a Sauv Blanc-type wine – but also still light enough to not fall into the richer Chardonnay-like world. We love it, and hope you do too!

Delicious With

Delicious with clams and linguini, or really any seafood pasta, grilled shrimp salad, antipasto, crispy fried fish and chips, or calamari. Perfect for Caesar salad, or go with a Roman classic like fried artichokes and Cacio e Pepe pasta.

Their Cred

Antonio Pulcini’s estate was known for its wines at the time of the Roman Empire. He has quietly championed the ancient Malvasia Puntinata (a/k/a Malvasia del Lazio) and Grechetto - varieties almost lost to the onslaught of Trebbiano and Malvasia di Candia. Pulcini prunes his vines to produce tiny crops to develop the concentrated fruit he believes is necessary for truly ageworthy wines. His top white, from the Colle Gaio vineyard, is allowed to slumber in the villa’s underground caves until Antonio deems it ready for his loyal customers.
