Made with Carignan grapes, this wine is delicate with a sense of southern rusticity and charm. Winemaker Anne Paillet's wines are fresher and more drinkable than what you’d typically find in the Languedoc, so this elegant take on Carignan brings a ton of brambly blackberry, plump raisin, and umami-meaty texture. Wildly natural with no added sulfur.

Delicious With

Spicy lamb meatballs, beef brisket, or roasted pork. It also pairs well with rich poultry dishes like roasted duck or smoked turkey legs.

Their Cred

Natural wine producer Anne Paillet’s wines are grown in Languedoc but vinified in Loire, where she is based with her winemaking partner Gregory Leclerc of Chahut et Prodiges. In a former life, she was a roadie for UK bands like Radiohead, Blur and The Verve, but ended up following love to Loire, and also falling in love with making wine. Paillet refers to her wines as ’Loiredoc’ wines - rich and ripe grapes from Languedoc, then aged in the Loire producing fruity, yet delicate and light red wines.
