A passionate study of Albariño

A passionate study of Albariño

ic: Winemaker, Constantina Sotelo

Driven by a fascination with the Albariño grape, winemaker Constantina Sotelo has dedicated over 20 years to a micro-project that truly stands out from other wineries in the Rías Baixas region of Spain.

Her obsession with this one grape has inspired her to experiment with every possible winemaking vessel - clay amphora, cement eggs, chestnut barrels, and stainless steel tanks. Sotelo produces almost all of her wines using this one grape varietal.

She is obsessively organic, using absolutely no sulfates, and still produces pristine, stable wines, with brilliant clarity.

ic:Constantina Sotelo | Rosalia

We first discovered Rosalía in 2020 and as the weather starts to warm, we love this oh-so-refreshing white wine.

Like the Sancerre of Albariños (meaning super bright, mineral, and zippy) – this wine is electric! It’s the kind of wine we need to wake up our senses. It’s the morning-cold-shower of wines. Imagine drinking a melted glacier, poured over a tropical fruit cocktail, then filtered through wet river stones.
