This vibrant and expressive red from Chile is a classic mix of smashed red currants, plum, tobacco, and roasted peppers with a dusting of freshly cracked black pepper. Sometimes Chilean Carmenere can be overwhelming with its peppery personality, but with this gem, the Laurent family have captured the perfect balance of varietal correctness and restraint; an incredible example of an under-the-radar grape.
