Nada Giuseppe
Dolcetto d’Alba

Nada Giuseppe Dolcetto d’Alba

A bold wine with a friendly touch

Known for its gorgeous fragrance and rich dark color, this Dolcetto way overdelivers. Like violets jumping out of the glass, plums soaked in blackberry jam and dusted with cocoa powder, this wine has a memorably soft, dusty texture. Great Dolcettos will be both bright and rich, bold and yet still light on its feet – and this one has it all.

Delicious With

Classic with rich, dark meats - slow-cooked, braised, and falling apart. It can stand up to big garlic flavors, and rich umami vegetables like tomatoes, eggplant, and mushrooms.

Their Cred

Ancestors of the Nada family bought this vineyard, orchard, and small house on a steep hillside in northern Italy in 1900. This parcel of vineyard was bought from the ancestors of the famed Gaja family. In the 1960s, the family built a small winery on the property and began bottling their own estate wines. As a true family operation, Giuseppe and Nella Nada stay fit maintaining the vineyards where they do practically all of the work, while their daughter Barbara manages the office, and their son Enrico oversees the winemaking.
