Quell Sparkling Rosé
Andreas Gsellmann Quell Sparkling Rosé
An Aperol Spritz kind of bubbles
This reminds us of an Aperol spritz – the way it’s fruity but not sweet, bitter but not astringent, and endlessly refreshing. Made with the same delicate technique as a traditional Champagne, this wine is aged in barrels, then ferments a second time in the bottle where the tiny bubbles are created naturally. It’s a sparkling rosé with real finesse and tons of character.
Delicious With
Pair with Cajun-spiced anything, hard cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino. Delicious with fish tacos, chips and salsa, or cured olives and salty snacks.
Their Cred
Andreas Gsellmann’s father was a co-founder of Pannobile, a group of 9 wineries in the town of Gols, Austria outside of Vienna, where they make natural wine. Andreas joined the winery in 2005 and introduced his own biodynamic approach to agriculture. In 2007, he started incorporating new farming methods in the vineyard and wine cellar and his father trustfully placed the winery in Andrea’s hands in 2019. The vineyards were certified organic in 2006 and biodynamic in 2011.
