Rième | Sparkling Mint Lemonade
100 year old French recipe
Our new favorite fancy non-alc beverage! We love a good classic European not-too-sweet, artfully flavored drink that actually tastes like the real ingredients. This family has been making these tasty lemonades since 1921 (for 100 years!) in the dreamy French town called Morteau near the border of Switzerland. This mint lemonade is bursting with freshly picked mint and tart lemon, with just a hint of sweet. (A fantastic cocktail mixer too 😉)
The tart flavor and delicate carbonation pair beautifully with fresh cheeses like goat cheese or milky mozzarella. Pair with salads, roast chicken, or alongside your favorite fancy sandwich creation – fried chicken sando with pickled slaw for the win!
Founded in Morteau, France, in 1921 by Marcel Rième, the original recipe and traditional crafting methods of the Rième family's premium lemonade has been passed down for generations. Today, his great-grandson continues the tradition; each glass bottle is filled with filtered water, fizzy carbonation, top-quality sugar melted in the family workshop (they also make premium syrups) and natural flavoring.
