Ravines | Estate Dry Riesling
A bucket-list wine
Riesling is one of those grapes that everyone should geek out on at some point in their lives. It shows the personality of the region and style it’s from and then takes it to another level. There is nothing like a dry Riesling from the Finger Lakes region of New York – and this is the perfect example. A singular experience. Delicate like honeysuckle and orange blossom in the air, but also has this tension that keeps it all together.

Their Cred
When Morten and Lisa Hallgren started Ravines in 2001, they were the only winery in the Finger Lakes with a winemaker holding a formal degree and training from Europe and a winery pursuing a traditional winemaking approach – making exclusively dry wines. Ravines quickly became regarded as a top wine destination in the Eastern US. Morten also pioneered the bone-dry, mineral-tinged Riesling style that has since become the flagship Finger Lakes wine to critical acclaim.
