Some ciders are tart, some are sweet, some are funky... This one is the perfect balance of creamy, smooth, sparkling apple goodness. Not sweet, but also not piercingly dry, like an apple custard. Think of this as more of a perfect bubbly to start the night off, rather than a cider. This was the first wine (well fruit wine), we tried at a natural wine show recently and it stopped us in our tracks. It’s definitely what we’re drinking, serving, gifting and crushing on as we kick off 2023 🥂

Delicious With

Delicious with yams or sweet potatoes, potato latkes topped with sour cream, gratin dishes drenched in butter and cheese. Surprisingly good with corned beef, sauerkraut, kim chi, and Thai cuisine. Awesome with pumpkin, sweet potato, or apple pie.

Their Cred

Julien Thurel, a woodsman and ornithologist, has been making foraged and organically farmed pear and apple ciders since 2012. He’s devoted an enormous amount of time to researching local apple and pear varieties, selecting the ones best suited to his native clay, limestone and silex soils. A perfectionist and nativist, Julien is driven by a mission to find the best local varieties that would lead to delicate yet aromatically complex and age-worthy ciders.
